Biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) is indicator defining oxygen demand, i. e. how much oxygen is required for the oxidation of organic compounds by microorganisms (in water, wastewater).

The ST BD incubators come with 230V internal sockets and have been designed to suit 2, 3 or 4 sets of WTW OxiTop® IS 12 (depending on the model).

Applications:
- Dedicated to sample incubation for Biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) determination.
Cabinet Variants:
- Available in 3 sizes of chambers: 150, 250 and 300 litres capacity.
- All have forced air circulation and full exterior door. Chambers are made in version B (basic) – the interior is made of aluminium, casing of powder-coated sheet.
- The entire ST BD range is offered with Smart controllers.
